And when you don’t have drive, you’re likely…
- to have lots of unfinished projects
- to feel tired throughout the day, and
- to procrastinate (at a near-professional level)
Uncovering what motivates you so you get your mojo back may be easier than you think. To rejuvenate your drive, pick a project you seem to be avoiding and ask yourself these ten questions:
- What results do I want to create & why?
- What’s the big idea? What’s the big opportunity?
- What can I learn?
- What relationships can I initiate or build?
- What do I truly enjoy from this?
- How does it align with my core values and aspirational brand?
- What will I gain if I complete it? What will I lose?
- What does success look like?
- How will this be good for my life in 5 years?
- Am I 100% committed?
Most times you’ll not only experience more motivation and drive, but you might feel more playful about your work because of the visual thinking process these questions prescribe.
If you’re not juiced by the end of the exercise, then you should probably turn down or re-assign the project to someone who can get excited about it.

I think this five-minute juice map is an absolutely great idea. So much of what we accomplish is based on getting in the right state of mind. Thinking through the questions on this mind map seems to be good mental preparation for high achievement. Thanks for sharing this.
